What travelers say:
The last time I went to Bali-Yogyakarta for a holiday, although it was all Indonesia, but 3 places and 3 styles, the styles are very different. Yogyakarta is mainly for two places, one is the hotel's pilgrimage place Anlu Resort Amanjiwo-Yogyakarta has a quiet, isolated, paradise. The other place is Borobudur. Borobudur is the largest monument in the southern hemisphere and the largest tower complex. The trip to Yogyakarta must see is to board Borobudur before dawn, and then quietly feel the mystery and magnificence, tranquility and shock. The usual sunrise trip is to get up at 4 am and rush here. AMANJIWO is located at the foot of the mountain, and you can start climbing before you open the door. At about 4:30, I was woken up by the housekeeper, and then went to the lobby to have breakfast and prepare it. Then there will be a special driver and guide to take us to Borofutu. We are a weekday, so there are not many people. I heard from friends that they are usually crowded. The guide took us to find the best location and then we waited quietly for the sunrise. I was not a Buddhist, nor was it a journey to wash my mind, I took a few photos and gave the location to someone else. I walked around the pagoda and found many monks quietly meditating. Because there is an active volcano nearby, some pagoda bell covers have been shaken off. There are also many headless Buddha statues, which are also due to the earthquake.
